Tolulope Arobieke Named “Future Leader” at the UK PropTech Awards for Achievements Through togetha

ilemi is proud to share that our CEO and Co Founder, Tolulope Arobieke, has been honoured with the “Future Leader” award at the UK PropTech Association’s annual UK PropTech Awards, as a representative of our parent company, Moradia Ltd. The recognition reflects the impact of the work he has led through our partner company, togetha, whose mission and progress stood at the centre of this achievement.

Now in its eighth year, the UK PropTech Awards continue to spotlight individuals and organisations who are reshaping the property industry with solutions that improve sustainability, strengthen customer experience and modernise long standing processes. This year’s award finalists represented a broad mix of innovative efforts from across the market, including major institutions such as KPMG and Lloyds Bank. Their presence highlights how deeply PropTech thinking is now integrated into the wider real estate landscape.

The ceremony opened with an observation from UKPA Director Sammy Pahal, who emphasised that the UK PropTech sector is uniquely positioned to be a real lever for economic growth. Her words reflected a sentiment that has been gaining traction across the industry. PropTech is increasingly seen as an engine for solving systemic challenges and unlocking new value. This message strongly aligns with the principles that togetha has been built on.

Tolulope captured the connection clearly in his remarks. “This award is a recognition of what togetha has been working toward. Sammy Pahal is right that PropTech can drive economic growth. The progress we have made through togetha shows what is possible when you focus on technology that supports people and strengthens the foundations of the housing market. I am grateful for the honour and even more motivated to continue building in a way that serves communities and industry partners.”

The UK PropTech sector, and indeed the global PropTech sector, is evolving rapidly. Companies are moving beyond incremental improvements and focusing on long term fixes for long standing issues such as affordability pressures, fragmented customer journeys and inefficient administrative systems. In this environment, togetha has distinguished itself by focusing on real world outcomes for renters, housing providers and institutions, across the UK, Nigeria, Dubai, South Africa, and more. The company’s work is grounded in improving financial security, reducing friction and enhancing transparency. These principles are central to the recognition Tolulope received.

Events like the UK PropTech Awards play an important role in elevating conversations about where the industry is heading. This year demonstrated a strong sense of momentum, with companies across all categories bringing forward solutions that show how interconnected the sector has become. Innovation is no longer siloed. It is collaborative and purpose driven.

Tolulope closed his comments by acknowledging this collective effort. “The progress at togetha would not be possible without partners, collaborators and a sector that is ready for change. Innovation grows when different groups come together. I am proud of what togetha has achieved and excited to continue contributing to a sector that is building a stronger future.”

ilemi congratulates Tolulope on this well earned recognition and extends sincere thanks to the UKPA for celebrating the people and organisations shaping the next chapter of UK PropTech.
